February 6th & 7th - 10 am to 4 pm ~ Arctic Ice Festival
Ice CarvingIce carving, ice harvesting, ice fishing, & ice diving demonstrations, ice boat races, Underground Railroad trolley tours, soup cook-off, and more (weather permitting).
Maritime Museum of Sandusky, Sandusky Sailing Club and Erie County Senior Center.

May 3rd - 5 pm ~ Sandusky Area Maritime Association Annual Meeting & Dinner
Annual meeting at the Maritime Museum of Sandusky, followed by dinner and program at the Sandusky Yacht Club.
Program: maritime historian and author Frederick Stonehouse “The Civil War on the Great Lakes”

May 22nd - 11 am to 4 pm ~ International Museum Day
Erie County celebrates International Museum Day with free admission to many area museums, as well as family activities at each site.

May 22nd - 9 am to 5 pm, May 23 - Noon to 4 pm ~ May Days
May DaysNautical Flea Market, model boat building for kids, boat rides, Underground Railroad trolley tours, Capt’n Willie’s Silly Pirate Show and the Blessing of the Fleet. At the Maritime Museum of Sandusky, Sandusky Bay Pavilion and Battery Park Marina.

July 2nd, 3rd, & 4th ~ Festival of Ships
Tours of Great Lakes boats, day and evening sails, model boat building for kids, special exhibits, family activities and Underground Railroad trolley tours. At the Maritime Museum of Sandusky, Sandusky Bay Pavilion and Battery Park Marina.

Wine FestivalAugust 12th, 13th & 14th ~ Toast of Ohio Wine Festival
Enjoy samples of Ohio wines and gourmet food at the Sandusky Bay Pavilion. Evening cruise on the Sandusky Bay, progressive wine tasting tours, musical entertainment and Underground Railroad trolley tours are scheduled throughout the weekend.
Thursday, Aug 12th 7-9pm - Sunset Cruise with wine tastings and gormet food($25, reservations recommended, limited space, 21 & older)
Friday, Aug 13th 4-9pm
Saturday, Aug 14th noon-8pm

August 20th - 6 to 9 pm, August 21st - Noon to 5 pm Big Splash Raffle~ Big Splash Raffle
The Earthquakers on Friday evening with side raffles, food and beverages. Over $250,000 in cash and prizes, side raffles, and more on Saturday. At the Erie County Fairgrounds.

September 11th - 10 am to 4 pm and 12th - noon to 4pm ~ Bay Days
Capt'n WillieBoat rides, model boat building for kids, wooden boat repair demonstrations, Underground Railroad trolley tours, and Pirate Day with Capt’n Willie’s Silly Pirate Show.  At the Maritime Museum of Sandusky and Battery Park Marina.

BOO! At the BayOctober 9th ~ Boo at the Bay Pumpkin Festival
Pumpkin Drop, ghost stories, Halloween crafts, Underground Railroad trolley tours, and Night at the Maritime Museum. 

December 11th - 10 am to noon ~ Gingerbread Lighthouse Workshop
Assemble and decorate this popular holiday treat in the shape of a lighthouse.

All programs start at 1pm and are free with admission to the Maritime Museum of Sandusky, unless otherwise noted.
